This collection consists of several vintage American breakfast cereal containers and promotional items, produced by Kellogg Company of Battle Creek, Michigan. The grouping includes an individual serving size box of PEP Whole Wheat Flakes, 1 ounce, featuring red and blue graphics and text stating the product contains vitamins B1 and D. Also present is a 1 ounce box of Kellogg's Corn Flakes with a printed script signature of W.K. Kellogg and a 2 1/4 ounce box of Kellogg's Shredded Wheat, designed to hold three biscuits. A later 20th-century trial size box of Cracklin' Oat Bran is included, marked with a 39 cent price point and a net weight of 1 1/2 ounces (42 grams). Completing the set are two promotional miniatures representing Kellogg's Corn Flakes and Rice Krispies; the latter features printed character names SNAP!, CRACKLE!, and POP!. The miniatures appear to be constructed from solid blocks of wood or heavy compressed board with printed graphics. All cereal boxes are constructed of printed cardboard and are empty.
