A circular cast decorative mount featuring a high-relief profile portrait of a bearded man with curly hair and draped garments, rendered in a style reminiscent of 17th-century European tronie studies. The central figure is enclosed within a raised pearled border. Following the curve of the inner rim on the front is a stylized cast inscription reading MORRISON, preceded by an illegible monogram. The reverse of the piece is concave and features three short, integral cylindrical mounting posts for attachment. A stamped numerical mark of 975 is visible on the back, positioned below an indistinct relief mark of a profile head within a shaped cartouche. The metal exhibits a heavy, aged patina with deep dark brown and black tones, with the bright base metal showing through on the high points of the relief.
