A pair of brass candlesticks in the 18th-century Georgian style. Each candlestick is constructed from cast and turned brass, featuring a flared circular sconce above a stem composed of multiple turned baluster-form knops. The stems terminate in wide, slightly domed circular bases. The metal displays a varied aged patina with visible surface oxidation, spotting, and areas of darker tarnish. Traces of historical polish or wax residue are present, particularly in the recessed areas of the turnings and around the base. There are no maker's marks visible on the exterior surfaces of the items.
