A pair of Zuni beaded figural dolls, originating from the Southwest region of the United States. These anthropomorphic figures are constructed using glass seed beads stitched over a soft substrate, likely hide or fabric. The dolls are joined at the crown of the head by a braided and knotted cord. Both figures feature yellow beaded heads with black bead eyes and red bead mouths. The clothing is rendered in colorful diagonal beadwork patterns; one figure wears a yellow shirt with red stripes and blue pants, while the other wears a yellow shirt with blue stripes and red pants. The limbs are formed from simple loops of brown and yellow seed beads. This style of conjoined miniature doll is a traditional form within Zuni beadwork crafts of the mid-20th century.
