This set of three vintage automotive reflectors, often referred to as cat eye or marble reflectors, features amber glass inserts. Each unit is constructed with a circular housing made from stamped steel and finished with black paint. The reflectors utilize nineteen individual amber-colored glass marbles arranged in a concentric pattern: a single central marble, a middle ring of six, and an outer ring of twelve. Two mounting tabs or ears are positioned on opposite sides of the circular housing, each featuring a single hole for attachment to a vehicle or trailer. This style of safety equipment was common on trucks and passenger vehicles from the 1920s through the 1940s. While visually similar to reflectors produced by manufacturers such as Do-Ray and Arrowlite, the embossed characters on the metal rims are too worn to definitively identify a specific maker.
