An antique carnival glass bowl featuring an amethyst base glass that appears deep purple to near-black depending on light exposure. The bowl is constructed from pressed glass with a hand-crimped, ruffled rim and sits on a molded collar foot. The interior is decorated with an embossed pattern consisting of alternating grape clusters and vine leaves surrounding a central grape leaf motif. The exterior body displays wide vertical panels that extend toward the ruffled edge. The surface is finished with a metallic iridescent spray, producing a multi-colored luster with prominent highlights of bronze, gold, and green. This pattern and form are characteristic of early 20th-century American carnival glass production, often attributed to the Fenton Art Glass Company or the Imperial Glass Company. No maker marks or symbols are visible on the underside of the base.
