Attributed to Barnes Manufacturing, this antique novelty padlock is cast in the form of a horseshoe and is made of solid brass. The front of the lock features the raised lettering GOOD LUCK along the lower curve. The outer edge is decorated with dashed indentations that mimic the appearance of nail holes in a real horseshoe. The item has a heavy, textured finish and a circular keyhole located at the base. The shackle is integrated into the horseshoe design and is currently in the closed position.
