This is an antique rectangular wooden storage box featuring a weathered green painted exterior. The box is constructed from wood and features a hinged lid. The front of the box contains a centered keyhole, though it lacks an external escutcheon and a key. The lid is secured by two brass hinges with flat-head screws. The underside of the lid features a raised, beveled wooden panel. The interior is divided into six compartments of varying sizes: one large rectangular compartment at the rear, two medium compartments in the center, and three smaller compartments at the front. The interior wood retains a natural finish with a dark patina. No maker's marks, labels, or stamps are visible on the piece.
