An antique British three-draw Day or Night maritime telescope by Dolland, London, dating to the 19th century. The instrument features a central barrel of mahogany wood with brass fittings. It consists of three telescoping brass draw tubes and is equipped with its original brass objective lens cap and an eyepiece with a sliding brass dust cover. The first draw tube bears the engraved cursive inscription: Dolland. LONDON. Day or Night.
Collapsed length: Approximately 10 to 12 inches
Extended length: Approximately 30 to 36 inches.
