(3) A striking early 20th century plains doll, measuring 14 inches tall, dressed in a soft native-tanned hide dress with long fringe, yellow ochre yoke, and blue beaded accents along the hem and seams. The doll features a distinctive beaded face with carefully worked eyes and mouth, and wears her hair in traditional long braids. She stands on parfleche soles — a rare and desirable detail — and is fully stuffed to hold her form upright. The dress retains excellent surface and color, with honest age and light handling wear.
