The front cover provides a detailed list of contents, including calendars, stamp duties, postage rates, and instructions for income returns under contemporary revenue laws. Internally, the book features monthly calendar pages accompanied by astronomical tables and woodcut zodiac illustrations, such as the ram for April. The latter half of the volume includes blank lined pages under the heading Memoranda and informative sections regarding legal documents, leases, and insurance. The work was specifically produced for the use of farmers and others, including advertisements for local merchants.
