This is a globular ceramic polychrome bowl executed in a style consistent with Southwest Native American traditions, resembling work from the Ohkay Owingeh (San Juan) or Cochiti Pueblo. The vessel is constructed of hand-coiled clay with a bulbous, rounded form, a wide, slightly inverted rim, and a flattened base. The exterior is decorated with hand-painted slip in a three-color palette of terracotta-red, buff-tan, and cream. A central decorative band features bold geometric motifs, including stepped zig-zags, triangles, and a single spiral, which are outlined in cream and filled with red against a tan ground. Solid reddish-brown slip bands encircle the rim and the lower portion of the body. The interior of the bowl is finished with a smooth, light-colored slip. No maker's marks or signatures are visible on the piece. A small white rectangular inventory sticker is present on the base, bearing the handwritten numbers 25 or 35 in blue ink.
