Steiff Bactrian camel pull toy produced in the early 20th century. The toy represents a two-humped camel constructed from brown wool felt. It features tufts of long-pile mohair or wool on the peaks of the humps, the neck, and the upper forelegs. The camel is fitted with a red felt saddle cloth decorated with yellow braided trim. It has black glass boot-button eyes and a stitched muzzle detail. The body is firmly stuffed with excelsior. The undercarriage comprises two metal axles mounted through the hooves, which support four spoked cast iron wheels. This model was produced without a base, with the wheels attached directly to the animal. No manufacturer buttons or tags are present.
