The design features the streamlined torpedo or bullet shape synonymous with early Cadillac tail fins. The housing is constructed from die-cast metal with a red painted finish. It is fitted with a large translucent red plastic primary lens characterized by horizontal ribbing. A smaller circular red lens is positioned at the terminal point of the housing. The unit is mounted on a dark-stained rectangular wooden plinth for display purposes. The housing retains several original mounting holes along its sides and lower perimeter. No manufacturer stamps, patent dates, or part numbers are visible on the exterior.
