This lot features two early 20th-century promotional items for Spratt's Insect and Flea Powder, produced for the American market. The collection includes a cardboard easel-back retail display and a lithographed product tin. The cardboard display is decorated with a lithographed illustration of a woman in an apron applying the powder to a household crevice, set against a large orange sunburst. The blue lower panel contains typography listing various pests including cockroaches, moths, fleas, bed-bugs, mosquitoes, and flies. The display is marked IN U.S.A. at the bottom right. The accompanying cylindrical tinplate container is finished in yellow lithography with red and blue text. It features the Spratt's mascot illustration of a Saint Bernard dog's head within a red oval.
