A vintage promotional sun hat constructed from woven straw with an orange lacquered finish. The hat features a structured crown styled after a pith helmet and a wide, circular brim. The front of the crown bears a black printed diamond-shaped logo for the American agricultural manufacturer Allis-Chalmers, with the letters AC positioned above the company name. The design includes four metal ventilation grommets set into the sides of the crown and a dark-colored protective binding along the exterior edge of the brim.
