The exterior features the Moon and Star pattern, characterized by large circular "moon" medallions with central multi-point starbursts, surrounded by a field of faceted diamond points and radiating lines. The vessel has a thick, flat rim with a slight interior recession, and the base is decorated with a molded starburst design. This pattern and colorway are attributed to the L.E. Smith Glass Company, produced in the United States during the mid-20th century. No maker's marks, alphanumeric characters, or factory symbols are visible on the piece.
