A vintage poker chip set manufactured by Metro, New York. This set is contained within a brown textured carrying case featuring brass-toned latches and an amber-colored translucent plastic handle. The interior consists of a light-colored wooden tray divided into sections to organize a collection of interlocking plastic poker chips in white, red, and blue. A small gold and red foil label on the interior hinge area identifies the manufacturer as METRO of NEW YORK. The chips are constructed with a textured rim designed for stable stacking.
