An opaque white milk glass decorative plate produced by Westmoreland Specialty Co. in Grapeville, Pennsylvania. The face features a central embossed relief scene of a rooster flanked by two hens in a farmyard setting. The upper rim carries the raised, gilt-lettered inscription NO EASTER WITHOUT US. The plate is finished with a scalloped scroll-and-shell border highlighted with gold gilding. The reverse side features an embossed mark centered within the foot rim, consisting of the numerals 2 and 6 positioned above an embossed outline of a basket with a single overhead handle. The poultry figures show remnants of red cold-painted decoration on the combs and feet.
