This vintage promotional desk display features an oversized replica rifle cartridge finished in a brass-tone metal. The cartridge is mounted horizontally on a curved metal pedestal, which is set into a square, tiered wooden base with a routed circular tray. The base of the pedestal is embossed with brand markings: the name WINCHESTER appears in red block letters on one side, and the Western logo is rendered in red script on the adjacent side. The item represents the Winchester-Western ammunition brand, formed by the merger of the Winchester Repeating Arms Company and the Western Cartridge Company.
