This is an antique folding straight razor distributed by the William Frankfurth Hardware Company of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The steel blade features a tang stamp reading WM. FRANKFURTH HDW. CO. over MILWAUKEE, WIS. The blade face is decorated with an etching of the text King of Whiskers in a stylized script within a decorative frame. The handle scales are composed of a dark material, likely black celluloid or vulcanite, and are finished with decorative metal end caps featuring a stylized sunburst or floral motif with central pivot pins.
