A mixed lot of nine (9) vintage tin lithograph toys including five paddle-style noise makers, two round tambourine-style noise makers, one grasshopper-shaped clicker, and one spinning top. These toys feature bright, multi-colored circus and carnival-themed lithography. Four of the paddle-style noise makers and the two round noise makers depict various circus performers including clowns, acrobats, and dancers. One paddle-style noise maker features an illustration of a Black man playing a harmonica. The spinning top features circus performers on a yellow ground and includes a green plastic handle. Additionally, one noise maker is shaped and lithographed like a grasshopper. While manufacturer marks are not clearly legible at this resolution, a small circular logo on the spinning top indicates it was made in the U.S.A., suggesting mid-20th-century production by companies such as U.S. Metal Toy Mfg. Co. or Kirchhof.
