This pair of footed salt and pepper shakers is crafted from green Depression glass in the Poinsettia pattern, which is also commonly referred to as the Floral pattern. The tapered glass bodies feature an intricate molded design of poinsettia blossoms and scrolling foliage, a motif that continues onto the circular footed bases. This specific pattern is attributed to the Federal Glass Company and was produced in the United States circa 1932 to 1935. Each shaker is fitted with a dome-shaped, screw-on metal lid with a perforated top. Green Depression glass from this period typically contains uranium and may exhibit a strong green fluorescence when exposed to ultraviolet light.
