This lot consists of two transparent green glass items dating from the American Depression era. The first item is a circular ashtray featuring four integrated cigarette rests and a molded interior pattern of scrolls and medallions, attributed to the Hocking Glass Company Princess pattern (circa 1931–1935). The second item is a footed shaker with a pedestal base and a glass body decorated with a horizontal band of molded scrollwork. The shaker is capped with a silver-tone perforated metal screw-on lid. The material and color are characteristic of glass from this period that typically contains uranium, resulting in bright green fluorescence under long-wave ultraviolet light.
