This early 20th-century American carnival glass bowl is attributed to the Fenton Art Glass Company and features the Grape and Cable pattern. The design consists of embossed grape clusters and large, detailed leaves connected by scrolling vines. The bowl is crafted from amethyst base glass with a heavy, multi-colored iridescent finish that exhibits a metallic bronze appearance with strong highlights of gold, copper, and purple. The form is a deep, circular bowl, commonly referred to as a ferner, supported by three integral scroll-style feet. The interior of the bowl displays a deep purple-red color when viewed under light. The underside of the base is smooth and does not bear an embossed manufacturer's mark. A small white paper inventory label with the handwritten numbers 662 is present on the bottom.
