This antique commercial signage kit was produced by The Tablet and Ticket Co. for use with a T. and T. Changeable Sign. The set is contained within its original wooden storage case. The interior lid displays a prominent yellow paper label with black printed text that includes patent number 454,424 (granted in 1891) and company locations in Chicago, New York, and San Francisco. The kit contains an assortment of Willson's Gummed Letters and figures made of gold-finished cardboard. The interior is organized into multiple compartments holding numerous paper sleeves labeled for specific characters, including letters A through Z, numerical figures 0, 1, 2, 3, and 9, as well as symbols such as the ampersand, dollar sign, and question mark.
