A vintage one-quart glass oil dispenser bottle manufactured by the Dover Stamping and Manufacturing Company. The piece consists of a molded clear glass bottle with a threaded neck and a detachable fluted conical metal pouring spout. The glass body features extensive embossed lettering. The shoulder area is marked MASS. SEAL. The main body is embossed ONE LIQUID QUART. A central circular seal contains the text QUALITY WARE around the top arc, NO. 80 over the name DOVER in the center, and DOVER STAMPING & MFG CO along the bottom arc. The base edge is marked D. S. & M. CO. This style of bottle was commonly used in automotive service stations during the early-to-mid 20th century.
