This vintage automobilia collectible is a one quart glass motor oil bottle produced for the Standard Oil Company under the Polarine brand. The bottle features two applied color labels. The upper label displays the name Polarine in white sans-serif letters on a red rectangular background. The lower label depicts the Standard Oil torch emblem, which includes a central white band with the text STANDARD in blue, a red top half with a white flame, and a blue bottom half with a white torch base. The bottle is equipped with a tall, tapered metal pouring spout that screws onto the glass neck. The spout features a characteristic breather hole near the rim of the cap.
