This hand-painted wooden duck decoy depicts a Northern Pintail drake and was produced by the Evans Decoy Factory of Ladysmith, Wisconsin. The decoy is carved with a slender neck and a pointed tail characteristic of the species, and features inset glass eyes. The paint pattern includes a brown head, a white neck stripe, and a green and yellow speculum on the wings. The flat underside of the body bears the stamped mark EVANS DECOYS.
