This Native American loom-woven beaded strip, likely a garter or sash component, features a repetitive series of stylized red four-petaled flowers with black and green foliate stems set against a solid white seed bead ground. One terminus is finished with a fur-covered buckskin tab and long leather fringes accented by red beads, while the opposite end features a leather loop with a circular metal drop attached by a thong. The floral iconography and loom technique are characteristic of indigenous art from the Great Lakes or Plateau regions. The construction utilizes glass seed beads, buckskin, animal fur, and a metal element. No maker's marks or signatures are present.
