Likely Pennsylvania or West Virginia in origins, this is a very uncommon form to find. The bowl, with three cobalt lines, and a line of cobalt comma decorations, features an original handle. Handled bowls of nature are incredibly rare, and hard to come by. This bowl has survived in excellent condition, measuring 9.5 inches wide x 6 3/4 inches tall.
