This is a pre-Prohibition era export-style beer bottle from the Semrad Bros. & Pusch Brewing Company of Highland, Wisconsin. The bottle is constructed of aqua-colored glass and features a crown-top finish. The front of the bottle displays embossed text arranged in four lines: the first line is arched and reads SEMRAD BROS, followed by a second line with an ampersand, a third line reading PUSCH BR G. CO., and a final line stating HIGHLAND, WIS. This style of bottle was common in the regional brewing industry during the late 19th to early 20th century, specifically between approximately 1904 and 1920. Near the base of the bottle, there is a small, white, circular sticker with the handwritten number 231.
