The exterior is decorated with a diagonal cream band bearing the phrase Remember me in black gothic-style script, bordered by rows of raised beaded dots. The remainder of the exterior is finished with a heavy gold gilt ground adorned with high-relief molded and white-enameled floral sprigs and leaves. The interior is glazed white. The underside of the base bears a circular red stamp with the text MADE IN GERMANY printed in the outer ring. A central circular symbol within the stamp is obscured and not legible.
