The interior is lined with black fabric and retains a tan leather sweatband. A diamond-shaped maker label is present in the crown interior, protected by a stitched clear plastic cover. The gold-printed label features an eagle emblem with spread wings above the text: Carlson and Company, Uniform Tailors, 9 So. Clinton St., Chicago. A small circular paper tag is attached to the interior, handwritten with the size 6 3/4 and additional illegible initials.
