This vintage mid-20th-century trophy is composed of a gold-tone metal figure mounted on a fluted metal column and a two-tier green marbled plastic base. The gold-tone metal figure depicts a man in a service uniform, wearing a peaked cap, jacket, and high boots, with his right arm extended in a pointing gesture. The figure stands atop a fluted gold-tone metal column. The base is constructed from two tiers of green and white marbled plastic, reminiscent of Catalin or Bakelite. A blank, unengraved rectangular brass plaque is attached to the front of the upper tier of the base. The underside of the base is hollowed, revealing the central mounting bolt and nut. Affixed to the interior of the hollowed base is a white rectangular paper label with handwritten text in black ink that reads 2nd Price at STate Meet in East Hartford.
