A 19th-century style brass chamberstick featuring a cylindrical column with an integrated push-up ejector mechanism. The column is decorated with several turned incised rings. The ejector mechanism consists of a vertical slot housing a sliding brass adjustment knob, which allows for the manual height adjustment or ejection of a candle stub. The central column is mounted to a saucer-shaped drip pan base characterized by a rolled outer edge. A finger loop handle with an integrated thumb rest is secured to the base by two visible rivets located on the interior of the well. The piece displays evidence of being cast and lathe-turned.
