This collection consists of five color lithograph advertising cards for Society Brand Clothes, dated Spring and Summer 1912. The cards were produced by Alfred Decker & Cohn and used by the retailer Schmedeman & Baillie, located at 25 E. Main St., Madison, Wisconsin. Each vertical card features an illustration of a man modeling a specific suit design, labeled as The Ritz-Carlton Suit, The Norfolk Suit, The Master Suit, The Row Suit (English), and The Poole Suit (Semi-English). The cards include detailed text regarding the cut, materials, and styling of each garment. The set is mounted together on a black background inside a black frame and includes a handwritten note providing historical context.
