This North American Indigenous pouch is constructed from cream-colored hide and decorated with glass seed beads, metal ornaments, and animal fur. The front flap features two embossed white metal figures of otters in profile, positioned to face a central metal disc. The disc is embossed with a figure and the word LIBERTY along the upper edge. The pouch is embellished with multi-colored seed beads in red, yellow, green, white, and blue, arranged in scalloped borders and geometric patterns. A long, dense fringe of dark brown animal fur extends from the bottom edge of the bag. The fringe is further decorated with brass-colored spherical beads and metal cones suspended from hide thongs. The bag is attached to a wide, red woven textile strap featuring a central yellow and orange repeating geometric motif. The reverse of the pouch consists of a plain cream-colored textile or hide panel finished with a beaded border.
